THE FIVE STRENGTHS… 6 WEEKS CLASS * 6 Saturdays from February 20 - March 27…3-5pm cost: $100 for for the class $85 for current monthly students
The Five Strentghs is taught by Victoria Jeune, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Practitioner, Register Yoga Teacher, and Certified Group Facilitator. It is a 6-weeks class held on 6 consecutive Saturdays from 3:00 to 5:00 beginning on February 20 through March 27. There will be a make-up time on Tuesday mornings from 11:00 to 1:00. The cost of the class is $100 with a $15.00 discount to studio members and a $5.00 discount for bringing a friend. The Five Strengths lays a foundation for the path to enlightenment. The five strengths are instructions with a body-mind focus on how to enables and empower yourself through a daily practice to change your lives, heal from the inside, and discover more of yourself. The class will include instruction with a notebook, yoga postures to include in creating your practice and group dialogue.
Phoenix Rising Yoga creates an experience for students that support them in trusting their own body-mind wisdom and in identifying and using whatever was brought to their awareness during class to build on their inner strength. Through a combination of classical yoga postures and elements of contemporary body-mind psychology, it encourages a deeper connection with self.
It is a process-based yoga class different from other styles of yoga, which allows students to find their own formation of each pose through their individual experience. Emphasis is placed on what happens in the posture as well as the physical experience. You learn an open-ended inner experience, encouraging each student to discover life-enhancing awareness that has the potential for conscious everyday application and subsequent life change.
